There are 6 boys on our street...six boys whose back yards touch...six boys around the same age who love to get dirty, play & explore. Yes, I am so outnumbered around here, but I also admit that I absolutely love watching all of their shenanigans! If they're not playing basketball, they're swimming in our next door neighbor's pond, running from the dog, building something, climbing trees...you name it. I'm sure there's some arguing mixed in, too, but we'll just forget about that for now! :) This week, they decided to build a fort. A couple of nights ago, I grabbed my camera and decided to go check it out! It makes my heart happy to see them having good, old-fashioned fun without a TV, Phone, or an Xbox!!
My favorite images are always the ones where kids are just being themselves, totally in their element, doing what they love, and not even paying attention to me and my camera! These are the moments of their childhood that they will remember forever!
